What is the Made With Care Shop?

The Made With Care Shop is an assortment of products that meet Boozt’s Made With Care criteria.

The shop-in-shop experience includes transparent and understandable information for customers about the sustainability efforts of brands, as well as the environmental and social claims of products.

Boozt’s Made With Care criteria is a set of guidelines, recommendations and resources meant to support responsible production on both environmental and social aspects.

The Made With Care shop for Fashion and Home is composed of products that are made of at least 50% independently certified organic, recycled or innovative materials, and for which manufacturers in risk countries have agreed to social audits that evaluate working conditions. The Made With Care shop for beauty is composed of products that do not contain ingredients that are classified as carcinogenic, irritants, endocrine disruptors, mutagenic, microplastics, and/or toxic for reproduction, and for which manufacturers in risk countries have agreed to social audits that evaluate working conditions.

Boozt’s Made With Care Criteria is regularly updated to match new strategies and regulations, include innovations, and challenge current practices.

Why do you call it Made With Care and not sustainable fashion?

The term “sustainable” can be misleading for consumers, especially when not explained, as sustainability is a complex topic that involves all aspects of a business’s operations and strategy. We never want to be misleading in our communication, to customers or stakeholders.

In May 2021, we decided to rename our “sustainable fashion” category, Made With Care, to align with our Care-For strategy. We have decided to call it Made With Care, as Care for us is “to Care for the change we want to see”. Our Care-For strategy is our roadmap to becoming the leading e-commerce company in the Nordics, using our business as a catalyst for change.

What is our Animal Welfare Policy?

Boozt has banned the following materials: all fur, angora and exotic skins.

In our Fashion selection, we sell products with other animal fibres, including wool, silk, cashmere, alpaca, leather, and down & feathers.

In our Beauty selection, we sell vegan products. Those products are labelled as such onsite in the product information.
