About the brand

Ray-Ban® is for high-flyers. The legend dates back more than 80 years ago as a technological response to a challenge that US Air Force pilots were facing. The solution was found in 1937, when the first pair of sunglasses that could protect pilots from glare at high altitute was launched. These sunglasses were later rebranded as the Ray-Ban® Aviator, arguably the most famous sunglasses ever made. Since then, Ray-Ban has been at the forefront of style, technology and culture, never forgetting its pioneering spirit and openness to innovation.
