How to dress for those rainy days

Fashion forecast says we’re in for some rainy days. But don’t fret, we’ll make sure you always keep dry and fashionable, from light drizzles to monsoon showers, we’ve got you covered.

Rainy bike rides

Commuting to work in 90-degree downpour requires a waterproof outfit. Opt for a rain repellent anorak or parka with a functional hoodie. If you really don’t want to get wet – match with rain pants or a full-on water-resistant jumpsuit. Slide into the Monday meeting dry as your boss’s jokes.

Muddy puddles

Nothing says Kate Moss like a pair of high rain boots. Pair with denim shorts or mini dress for a festival-approved outfit. Heading straight for the countryside? Opt for jeans, knits, and a rain cape.

City errands

Pair fashion with function and run your errands in a stylish leather trenchcoat matched with a practical bum bag and umbrella. Walk confidently through puddles in chunky low cut rain boots, and a takeaway coffee in hand.

Gorpcore chic

You don’t need to go camping to pull this one off. Gorpcore (internet slang for functional outdoor wear) is here to stay. Dress like an urban hiker in head-to-toe North Face, Gore-Tex, and zipper pockets. Add a bucket hat and a Rains backpack and you’re ready to face any weather, from drizzles to thunderstorms.

The British it-girl

When in doubt just ask yourself “What would Alexa Chung do?” and do that. On a rainy day she’d most likely dust off her leather jacket and pair with rain boots, or go all in with a statement raincoat, sneakers, and a funky handbag. Just copy paste.

Colour pop

Give them grey clouds a nice silver lining by choosing colorful pieces. Dopamine dressing is the antidote of the season. Bright pink, bold patterns and funky colour combos will boost your mood on even the rainiest of days.
