Brug herefter den flade, skrå foundation-børste til at fjerne foundationen fra spartlen og påfør den i ansigtet ved hjælp af nedadgående bevægelser fra panden til hagen og fra næsetippen til kæbebenene. Undgå opadgående bevægelser, da det fremhæver de fine hår og porer. 3. Fordel til sidst foundationen på halsen, ørerne og ved hårgrænsen for at sikre en blød overgang. 4. Jo længere tilbage på børstehåndtaget man holder, jo blødere bliver resultatet. Jo højere oppe man holder (tæt på samlingen og børstehovedet), jo mere præcist og dækkende bliver resultatet
