Fabelab is a playful organic children’s interior brand, founded in Copenhagen, Denmark. The founder and lead designer of Fabelab is an Austrian architect living and working in Copenhagen. Fabelab believes in high-quality and responsibly made products, that inspire children to be creative and playful - all the products are deeply grounded in storytelling. Some of the products lead the thoughts to adventurous worlds and beautiful nature where there is room for free imagination and play. The products are based on natural materials and thoughtful beliefs, with attention to detail. For Fabelab, it is about using the right materials, as well as the lifespan of the products. They do that by creating multi purpose-design products that can be used by kids of all ages, and sometimes by the whole family. Fabelab’s products are made from organic cotton and they try to fill their products with organic cotton or recycled polyester wherever possible. They use natural materials, such as corn fibre filling and biodegradable sugarcane bags to protect the products during transportation.
Fabelab do not believe in throwing away, so they choose to reuse the fabric residues of their own productions and turn them into beautiful and unique products, like their offcuts collection.
