Design and inspiration

The classic Hammershøi tableware designed by Hans-Christian Bauer takes shape in the Hammershøi Christmas edition as both a timeless and contemporary Christmas collection. The series’ discreet grooves give every piece a distinctive design you recognise and can feel. Authenticity and craftsmanship traditions meet creative artistry and Christmas traditions when Rikke Jacobsen’s iconic illustrations add an epic touch of Christmas magic to the Hammershøi tableware.

All decorations are hand-painted by the renowned watercolour artist Rikke Jacobsen and transferred to the porcelain, which with exquisite attention to detail creates warmth and poetic Christmas atmosphere for your holiday traditions. The series introduces new motifs every year, so you can always look forward to expanding your Hammershøi Christmas collection – or beginning it here.
