jar fat frog grey - Porzellanfiguren- & skulpturen

A playful take on a frog. With the weight and presence of a sculpture. Use it as a candy jar. Or simply as a piece of eye candy. Gift it if you can bear to let it go.
Heavyweight champion.
Before the Frog Vase becomes a frog, it is first and foremost an exercise in strength and control. The form is mouth-blown from glowing glass, after which its eyes, lips and other details are shaped by hand. The form is mouth-blown from a single layer of glowing hot glass. Its size and the thickness of the glass make the object heavy to create and heavy to hold. The craft lies not only in the technique, but also in the physical strength, control and precision the process demands.
• Mouth-blown from a single layer of thick, solid coloured glass.
• Every vase is subtly different due to its hand-finished details.
• Made by the same glassmaker for more than twenty years.
• An original POLSPOTTEN design.
