First introduced in 1974, Sunflower by Kosta Boda is a classic series of votives designed by Göran Wärff. Sunflower is one of the prime examples of how Wärff drew inspiration from nature and the play of natural light, resulting in truly iconic glass designs. Sunflower is part of Kosta Boda’s reissue catalogue, where select products from our archives, are brought back to life and new audiences.
The reissued series includes votives in three different heights, in clear glass, circular glass as well as red, black and green executions. Sunflower is made in a two-step cast production technique relying on a perfect balance of gravity, skill and experience to combine flower and stem.
