The fringed AIKA blanket is 100% wool and contains Finnsheep wool! Lapuan Kankurit collects the Finnsheep wool used in the product from nearby farms within a radius of approximately 400 km from Lapua, Finland. Once the wool is gathered from local farms, it is sorted by colour into white, black, and natural brown. After washing, it moves to the spinning mill, where Lapuan Kankurit carefully applies specially developed colour blends, combining these undyed shades. This process allows the company to create stunning, natural tones of grey, beige, and brown, giving the AIKA blanket its unique character.
