Japanese Hills by Polish artist and illustrator Magdalena Pankiewicz is a contemporary interpretation of the country’s famous historical woodcut and textile prints. Minimal in style, simple strokes and gestures create a composition of mountains, lakes and clouds in a graphic and captivating way. Set against a warm, natural backdrop, strong blues and reds form the various elements complete with rich textures and bold linework.
