When it comes to sun protection clothing, it really is a jungle out there. How to find sun protection that really works? Something that is not full of chemicals? Something that doesn’t quickly fade, lose its shape or start to pill? We have chosen to use tightly woven durable nylon for our sun protection clothing. Nylon is 2-3 times stronger than polyester, which is the most common fabric used for this type of clothing. As our material is tightly woven, no chemical sun protection is needed, as the material itself provides natural protection from the sun’s rays. This sun hat has the classic brim that has been reinforced to help keep the sun’s rays at bay all day. It also has straps for tying under the chin for kids who like to test their parents’ patience by regularly removing their sun hat. This garment is quick drying and keeps its colour and shape.
