Like the mug and bowl in the series, it is decorated with strawberries, blueberries and the peacock butterfly, which playfully and poetically flies through the summer. The plate makes a beautiful addition to the other pieces in the series – and also pairs beautifully with other collections. Let it round off a cheerful and intimate summer atmosphere on the table while you enjoy the authentic nostalgia of Kähler’s handmade design traditions. It’s easy to imagine the plate as a base for summer classics such as strawberry cake, a crispy garden salad or new potatoes with butter and plenty of chives. The motifs are made by artist Rikke Jacobsen on the Hammershøi tableware's existing pieces designed by Hans-Christian Bauer. With her beautiful watercolours, she creates detailed motifs where flora and fauna are the key themes, perfectly capturing the nature and seasons around us.
