Puffin - Puidust kujud

A smile on its beak for 70 years. With its colourful beak and friendly expression, the Puffin is a bird you'll love at first sight. It’s almost too cute to be real, and it’s easy to see why Kay Bojesen was inspired by this charming bird from the cold north when he created his famous and beloved Puffin back in 1954. Naturally, we wanted to mark the 70th anniversary properly – with an anniversary edition, produced only in 2024 and in a new mini size that makes it even more charming (if that's even possible). The Puffin has a height of 13.5 cm. It's made using FSC®-certified beech wood and painted with great precision and care so that the body, beak and eyes have that authentic friendly look that the puffin is known for. It was the theatre painter Svend Rasmussen who was responsible for the bird’s lovely colours and wonderful beak, and his innocent and minimalist lines and use of colours perfectly match Kay Bojesen’s playful and imaginative world. Whatever its size, the Puffin has a very special appeal to both children and adults and is a great gift idea for christenings, birthdays, graduation gifts, anniversaries or weddings.
