This fabric placemat features the Hennika pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The edges of the placemat are finished and sewn onto the back side.
This product is made of a firm cotton and linen blend. 24% of the cotton used in this product is recycled.
Unbleached fabrics, as well as fabrics containing recycled fibers, have a natural lively color and surface where small different colored areas may appear. There may be differences between products regarding this feature.
Hennika is an energetic, fresh, and at the same time quiet striped pattern formed of large color surfaces. Prints designed by Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi, who worked at Marimekko from 1953 to 1960, represent timeless Marimekko design at its core.
