Our criteria across categories are based on Nordic, European and other international standards and certifications. We are aiming at highlighting the currently best-in-class products and brands that are trying hard to bring a systemic change in production and consumption pattern in the fashion industry.
The sustainability criteria for textile focuses on three main requirements, that all need to be fulfilled to have a product in the Made With Care category. Those requirements are:
— Environmental requirements; looking at material composition.
— Social requirements; looking at production countries, their risk level, and social compliance with international standards.
— Chemical requirements; looking at the safety and toxicology of the products for consumers, workers and the environment.
The sustainability criteria for Beauty focuses on three main requirements, that all need to be fulfilled to have a product in the Made With Care category. Those requirements are:
— Ingredients transparency requirements; looking at ingredient lists, their origin and safety for consumers.
— Packaging requirements; looking at ecodesign, innovation and environmental claims.
— Social requirements; looking at production countries, their risk level and social compliance with international standards.
