Lion Sabatier is located in Thiers, France, which has been the centre of French knife manufacturing for more than 500 years. There are several Sabatier factories here, all of which make knives, but of different qualities. Lion Sabatier was registered as the first Sabatier trademark as early as 1812 and is the only one allowed to use the lion as a symbol. The king of animals, the lion stands for strength, agility, and superiority, and the Sabatier lion symbol is a guarantee of quality for the consumer. Today, the eighth generation of descendants of the founder Philippe Sabatier continue to manufacture the unique 100% forged knives at the factory in Thiers. These include the 100% forged knives in the Ideal, Edonist, and Ideal Provence ranges as well as the Fuso Nitro+ range.
