Plenty of Christmas gifts. A festive wreath made of lush greenery, Christmas roses, and holly berries. A traditional and lavish bouquet of Christmas flowers. Red ribbons. And a young couple holding hands under the mistletoe. With artist Jette Frölich’s iconic paper cuttings, Holmegaard Christmas invites us in 2025 to celebrate Holmegaard’s 200th anniversary with a journey into the world of the romantic Christmas. A theme that not only references the decorative elements of the beloved Holmegaard Christmas collection but also harks back to Romanticism and Denmark’s Golden Age – the historical period in which Holmegaard was founded. The 2025 motifs naturally adorn the series’ charming Christmas hot drinks glasses, which create a warm and nostalgic atmosphere, inviting cosy conversations and evoking the feeling of Christmases past. The glasses are 11 cm high and hold 23 cl. They come in a set of two, allowing you to enjoy the exquisite motifs together and appreciate the combination of Holmegaard’s passionate glass craftsmanship and Jette Frölich’s original artistic universe while savouring the many delicious warm drinks of the season. With the many pieces in the Holmegaard Christmas series, it’s possible to set a wonderful holiday table where all the glassware comes together—also across previous years, as Jette Frölich’s cosy and classic Christmas style is designed to mix and match, each piece contributing its own Christmas tale. And it’s always a joy for guests to explore the motifs, each telling its own magical and memorable Christmas story in this unique glassware collection. Since 1825, Holmegaard has been a pioneer with a fiery passion for craftsmanship, pushing the limits of glass and creating a long line of iconic design classics that have defined Danish glass history.
