About the man himself
Tom Ford, a symbol of innovation and creativity in fashion, has been redefining the industry since joining Gucci in 1990. By 1994, he became Gucci's Creative Director, revitalizing Yves Saint Laurent and launching his brand in 2004. Each Tom Ford fragrance, starting with Black Orchid, draws inspiration from the glamorous past, using the world's finest ingredients. His fragrance collections explore themes like White Musk (2009), the exotic Jardin Noir (2012), and oudh, inspired by Middle Eastern culture and artisanal traditions.
What is the Private Blend Collection?
The name says it all: Private Blends are Ford's most personal and unique scents. These fragrances are simplified and complex, originating from single notes like amber or tobacco, yet offering infinite interpretations for the individual wearer. Ford's aim with this collection was to gently diverge from mainstream traditions and create something that intrigued him personally. Like his previous fragrances in his ‘signature’ line, Private Blends are intentionally non-gender-specific, connecting more deeply to memories, places, or emotions—far more romantic than just 'male' or 'female,'. Tom Ford believes that men and women can wear any of his fragrances. Known for working incredibly closely with perfumers who have shaped his collection (and renowned as a perfectionist in all things) scent is close to Tom Ford’s heart. You can certainly experience this with just one spritz of this latest collection. That’s all you will need to be hooked.

Tom Ford's Lost Cherry is a full-bodied fragrance that's both playful and sophisticated at the same time. The bitter almond note adds an unexpected twist to the juicy black cherry note while the combination of sweet and tart cherries creates a unique contrast that's both alluring and addictive.
THE OLFACTORY FAMILY: Amber.
Ébène Fumé remarkably conveys the scent of palo santo, but, the most unexpected thing about it is these secret fragile flowers that have sprouted through the smoke, from velvety sweet amber, from vanilla-bitter ebony, and the dry scent of rosewood. It conjures a transcendent spiritual calm.
THE OLFACTORY FAMILY: Woody.
Oud Wood has a rich smokey, earthy, dark, and woody scent profile. Certainly distinctive, it's one of the rarest, most precious, and expensive ingredients in a perfumer's arsenal and is often burned in the incense-filled temples of Bhutan. Exotic rosewood and cardamom give way to this rare wood, combined with sandalwood, and vetiver. Tonka bean and amber add warmth and sensuality.
THE OLFACTORY FAMILY: Woody Classic.
