Even though it's only March, the newness has begun to emerge don’t you think?
From the first new season drops that have come into our store, to the hint of new trends that are coming through in fashion, home, beauty, and sport it's something to look forward to. So for this month we will tap into that and show you the new SS24 trends to look out for to help you shop once the weather does warm up.
I´ve always loved ‘Looks for Less outfits’, you know the outfits you put together at a fraction of the cost. I am always quite pleased with myself when I do it. So, I thought I’d share a couple of outfits I love for the new season. Because good style doesn’t have to cost a fortune right?
This simple ensemble is both chic and practical for February weather. A hint of the new trends coming through, but still warm.
This is a more sophisticated look and is great when you want a more elongated line. Pairing the same colour palette but in different textures is very on-trend and this longline maxi dress with a coat in the same shade is so low-key luxe.
On another note, I wanted to share a recipe that I can’t get enough of. I found it on the Instagram account @recipesbyrachie, and now I’m hooked. She calls it the breakfast quiche, but quite frankly I’ve eaten it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and it's SO easy to make, try it!
Mini quiche deets: (as she says)
1 large wrap
Spinach
Zucchi
Sun-dried or fresh tomatoes
Feta
3 eggs
Bake at 170 degrees for 15 min, until eggs are cooked through. And you will eat the whole thing as it’s light and yummy. A life-changing foodie situation.
I always love something new in beauty to get excited about. A case in point right now is the Swedish brand, Melyon which has recently hit Boozt. What I love about it is that it has been designed, crafted, and tailored to embrace people of all skin tones, with a particular focus on addressing the unique needs of a darker complexion, and is versatile enough to be suitable for all skin types too. How great is that? Drawing inspiration from the founder's roots in West Africa but infusing the Scandinavian lifestyle it uses elements from nature and science to produce an amazing skincare range. With delicious ingredients like broccoli, ginger, corn, cinnamon, and papaya along with other environmentally friendly materials throughout, it is vegan, avoids harsh chemicals, and is packaged sustainably. Just very cool all around. What’s not to love?
