Editors letter – July

Before every summer, my family and I write a list of all the things we want to do over the holidays, whether it be to read more books or learn something new. After all, summer is about taking time out from daily life and doing something different. A couple on my ‘summer bucket list’ this year is to learn to play a song on the piano, and I can’t play the piano at all, so it really will be ground zero on that one. To learn to bake three new recipes (I’m a bit of a baker) and to paint something on canvas. It’s about taking the time out for yourself to regenerate and reinvigorate for the rest of the year.

Throughout July on The Edit, we will continue the summer vibes by giving you all the top tips to make those easy summer buys, whether it be in fashion, beauty, home, or sport. It’s all about giving you the inspiration to make your shopping experience a whole lot easier. Whether it’s buying a gift for that special occasion, knowing what products you need to look after summer skin, or those extra things to pack to help you keep your fitness up on vacation. As always, I love speaking to Rikke our resident stylist. In her Best Buddies story this month she shows us how to wear neon. I remember it the first time around, but we won’t talk about that. She tells us how to wear it now with her best buys. 

So now pour yourself a glass of something cold, get out your notepad, and write your summer bucket list. It’s fun!
