A single bold blue flower is captured as a tribute to the rich indigo blue produced in the mountains of Mexico. Flores Nocturnas 02 by Mexican artist Berenice Hernandez displays this single flower in the glow of the full moon, where its colour has been cooled and silhouette simplified. Against a white backdrop reminiscent of the lunar light, the composition captures night walks through the mountains, when the bodies senses are most in tune with the surrounding nature.
