The paper flower windflower is one of our smaller flowers. Here it is in a lovely ochre color with a bud in pink. The paper flower is a handmade crepe flower designed in collaboration with Kristina Sørensen from Labdecor.
The flower consists of a long, flexible green stem with a delicate flower head. The flower head itself is made of solid-colored crepe paper.
FLOWERY CREATIVITY
In addition to their decorative properties, paper flowers are also versatile and long-lasting. Don't be afraid to experiment with your paper flowers, as they can be wrapped around objects and easily used for wreaths, table settings, as a costume element or simply as a hair decoration. Otherwise, we have gathered some inspiration for those who want to use paper flowers in different ways. If you feel the need for renewal, you can reuse the flowers in new creative projects, here are just a few of many ideas:
1. Add a little extra to your table decorations and wrap paper flowers around napkins.
2. Mix your paper flowers with fresh flowers (remember to protect the paper stem from water).
3. Mix it with other dried flowers for a lighter touch.
4. Give a gift that the hostess will remember and give a stem or two.
5. Decorate birthday/friend/just because gifts with a paper flower.
6. Wrap flowers around branches in a vase to make individual flowers stand out more.
7. Make 90s-style light cuffs to decorate your candle or our oil candles, the paper flowers fit in both small and large vases as the stem can be bent and shaped - bend the stem a few times and use it in a small Standing Bubble or leave it in all its glory in the tall cylinder vase Flower Tube.
UNPACKING
Your delicate paper flowers are delivered carefully packed in a small protective cardboard tube. You decide how you want your flowers to look, for example, whether it's fully bloomed or in bud - it's entirely up to you how you want it to appear. Unfold your flower by following these three steps:
Gently grasp the flower head down in the box and pull it out.
Spread out the petals of the flower - depending on the look you're going for.
To create more fullness, you can gently pull your thumb in the center of a petal to make them more curved.
