Selva by Mexican artist Berenice Hernandez takes inspiration from the layered, lush greens of the native jungles of Central America. The dim, dappled light of the jungle is represented through black and gold details interspersed through the various tones of green, creating an abstracted detail of a single monstera leaf. Combining Hernandez’ unique eye for colour and composition, the work is bold yet organic.
