What do we do with our claims?
At Boozt, claims are always handled with the aim of reducing the inconvenience for the customer and the impact on the environment.
First, we will assess if the item can be repaired and offer reasonable compensation so that the customer can take the item to a repair shop. This way, we can extend the lifetime of the item, and the item doesn't have to be recycled. If the item is not repairable, we can, in those cases, ask the customer to recycle the item in the best way possible, following local waste handling guidelines.
In the cases where a faulty item must be returned to us, it is either resold in our physical outlet store or sent back to the brand. Information about the various defects is shared with the brands, which enables them to improve their product design process.
We always recommend contacting our customer service first if experiencing a production defect. Many cases can be resolved without the need for a return, which is always a better solution.
