N. A. Christensen established the Morsø Foundry in 1853 on the Danish Limfjord island of Mors. The Morsø Foundry was granted the title of Purveyor to the Royal Danish Court in 1915, when the first Morsø tiled stove was installed at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen. Morsø is known for its cosy cast-iron stoves, but today there are many other Morsø products for the home.
