Our beautiful carpets are hand-woven in India at an institute for the developmentally disabled. They are all woven in organic cotton leftovers from our productions. All rugs are unique and unevenness will appear as part of the design. We pay directly to this institute for them to weave these carpets. There is no intermediary supplier who takes their earnings. Our own supplier will help them for free to get it packed and sent to us when it is finished. It helps to develop their coordination and motor skills to weave these carpets and it creates great joy for those who weave them.
