Editors letter – August

I always find it a little disconcerting in August when you start to see the first drop of the autumn collections. When you read this, you’ll be fully into summer mode, but as you lay on the beach, our shop will start to fill with the new season, yet we’re more likely to be wearing swimsuits than shearling. And, although there is a definite ‘back to school and back to work vibe, right now, most of us are still taking some much-needed time out, especially at the beginning of the month. Yet, whatever you may be looking for now, I hope Boozt has it covered. 

This month on The Edit we give you some top tips for dressing for work and showcase new designer brands that have recently hit our store. In beauty, we show you how to repair your skin after all that beach time, and a less-is-more mindset when it comes to back-to-work makeup, so you enter the office looking polished.

The highlight of this month’s content for me is how to reorganise your home with great storage ideas. I mean, who doesn’t need a sort out occasionally, and heading into a new season is a great time to do this. I try to embrace the ‘one in one out philosophy, whether it be with homewares or fashion and beauty, but it never seems to happen, much to my home’s detriment. But, being organised always makes you feel better and your home less cluttered so try it and see.
