How will you spend your Christmas this year?
I have been looking forward to Christmas this year. I can’t wait to spend the Christmas holiday with my closest family, decorate our new house and make it feel cosy, bake some cookies with the kids, and dress up for the festive season. It’s just such a magical time of the year.
What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
My favourite thing about Christmas is being together as a family, creating memories and cosy traditions that the kids will remember forever - like bringing the Christmas tree home together and building Lego all day on the 25th of December.
What’s your favourite Christmas food?
To be completely honest I'm not the biggest fan of Christmas food, but I do love risalamande.
How will you spend your Christmas this year?
Every second year we spend Christmas with my family and the other year with my husband's family. So this year we will celebrate it with my family and we are a big family, so I think we will be around 25 people this Christmas. So much chaos but so much love.
What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
Spending time with family, no doubt! And just to see the excitement in my daughter’s eyes. After becoming a mum, Christmas has a whole new meaning.
What’s your favourite Christmas food?
I love Christmas food!! Duck, brown sauce, potatoes, and red cabbage. So old school and I love it.
How will you spend your Christmas this year?
I host Christmas Eve every year and I truly enjoy it. This year we will be 11 in total and I can't wait.
What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
It's a cliché, but as a Dane, Christmas is the epitome of "hygge". It's great food, candlelight, and spending time with loved ones. I truly enjoy every minute of it and try to remind myself of exactly that - that it should be enjoyed and not something to stress about. It doesn't matter if it's not perfect - as long as we just enjoy it.
What’s your favourite Christmas food?
The cookies! And Swedish Lussekatter - I lived in Stockholm when I was young and they're just reminders of a great time in my life.
How will you spend your Christmas this year?
I will spend Christmas together with my kids in sunny Doha. We are flying out in mid-December and will be visiting my parents. We are doing all the holiday traditions - but just with the company of palm trees and 25 degrees.
What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
Spending quality time with people I love. I especially love seeing the joy in my children’s eyes. I have so many fond memories from my childhood and Christmas time that I would like to give to them so they can cherish it just as much as I do.
What’s your favourite Christmas food?
My mum is American so I prefer turkey, sweet potatoes, and gravy. And for dessert a pumpkin pie. When it comes to the Danish Christmas food my favorite is the “julefrokost bord.”
What’s on your Christmas list this year?
So many beautiful and practical things that will make the winter so much easier to get through.
How will you spend your Christmas this year?
I will spend Christmas in our home with my three kids and their granddad. I have been hosting Christmas almost every year since I became a mother. And we love to be at home. We are very traditional about Christmas and it is almost 1:1 my own childhood Christmas.
What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
I love all the traditions and the magic of Christmas. I love to see it in my kids' eyes. To feel their Christmas joy.
What’s your favourite Christmas food?
Ris a la mande, no doubt about that.
