What is return credit and how does it work?

How does the return credit while waiting for cash refund work?
The return credit gives you the possibility to shop with Boozt again after having returned a previous order, without having to wait for the cash refund to be made to your account. You will receive the return credit code, corresponding to your return amount,  in a separate email after you have registered your return on My Boozt account. This return credit will allow you to continue shopping while we process your return. There will be no delays in the regular return process and you will be refunded to your account if you don’t decide to use your credit. The return credit ceases to function at the same time as the cash refund is sent to your bank card/ account after we have received the return at the warehouse.


I do not want a return credit, I want my money back. What do I have to do?
No problem, if you do not use the return credit your cash refund will be executed automatically just as normal. Using or not using the return credit will neither speed up nor slow down cash refund. Read more about the refund process here.


How do I apply the return credit code?
If you press on the link in the email in which you received the return credit, the code will be automatically applied at checkout. If you want to add the code manually do as followed:

1. Place the items you want to purchase in the basket and click "checkout".
2. Add the return credit code in the field to the right of the page where it says store credit / Gift Card.
Please note! Write the code exactly as shown - if you use spaces between the letters, the code will not work.
3. Press "Apply" for the credit to be applied.

If you don’t see the credit subtracted from your order amount please contact us and we will help you.


What happens if I only use part of the return credit?
If you choose to use only a part of the return credit, the unused part of the return credit will be refunded to you in cash after we have processed the return at our warehouse.


What happens with the return credit when the cash refund is executed?
The return credit  ceases to function at the same time as the cash refund is sent to your bank card/ account. Please note that, depending on your bank, it might take a few days before the refunded cash will be visible on your account.


Why does my order not qualify for a return credit?
Not all orders qualify for a return credit while waiting for cash refund. The criteria that an order must meet to qualify are determined unilaterally by Boozt. The criteria include, but are not limited to, the following:

- The order is not paid via invoice
- The order is not paid with several means of payment
- The order amount exceeds the minimum amount of SEK 299
- The order amount is less than the maximum amount of SEK 10,000
- The order has not been partially returned before

Can I exchange my return credit for cash?
Your return credit  will be automatically exchanged for cash if you do not use it before the cash refund is executed.


How do I know if my order qualifies for a return credit in case of return?
You are notified via e-mail for each individual order that meets the criteria and qualifies for return credit while waiting for cash refund.


What happens if my order is smaller or bigger than the return credit?
If your order exceeds the return credit amount you can use the return credit on the specified amount and pay the other part with another payment option.
If the order is smaller than the return credit amount  the unused part of the return credit will be refunded to you in cash once we have processed your return at the warehouse.


How long is the return credit valid?
The return credit ceases to function at the same time as the cash refund is sent to your bank card/ account after we have processed the return at the warehouse.
