Jalkani oli ennen 42 ja kapea. Nykyään se on leveämpi ja noin kokoa 43 tai vähän yli. RL kengät ovat yleensä reilun kokoiset ja saman valmistajat toiset tennarit ovat koossa 42 hyvät. Näissä taas 42.5 oli hyvin pieni. Suurempi ongelma oli kuitenkin kapea lesti eli kenkä puristi kauttaaltaan. Pintamateriaali on kauniin oloista enkä epäile etteikö kenkä olisi laadukas.
