Warning: WARNING
All safety equipment has its limits. Read and follow all instructions carefully. This helmet is exclusively intended for the following activities: skiing and snowboarding. It is not intended for motor sports use, use in connection with mopeds and scooters nor for other sports.
This helmet is only able to protect the areas it covers. It cannot protect the throat, neck, and face. No helmet can protect its user from every conceivable accident. Certain types of impact, even in low-speed accidents, can result in serious or fatal injuries. Please always act in a careful and defensive manner when skiing or snowboarding. Observe all safety regulations.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the helmet only with water and mild soap. Petroleum products, hydrocarbons, cleaners, paints, lacquers, adhesives, and similar products may damage the helmet and spoil its protective qualities.
Do not leave your helmet in a car or close to direct or indirect heat sources. High temperatures (over 30°C) may cause the plastic shell to melt. Damage of this nature is not covered by the guarantee valid from the date of purchase.
When storing and transporting your helmet, make sure that it is protected against constant sunshine, impacts, and pressure from other objects.
After use, dry your helmet in a well-ventilated place. Do not use a hair dryer or other type of dryer or direct heat source.
THE RIGHT SIZE
It is important to make the right choice of helmet size to give you the best possible protection. Measure the circumference of your head in centimeters from the forehead to the extreme rear of the skull with a tape measure.
The helmets must be adjusted to fit the wearer.
Avoid hollow and pressure points – the helmet should fit the shape of the head evenly. The helmet must always be properly fastened on the head. The chin strap must be closed under the chin. A correctly worn helmet should be placed to protect the forehead and not be pushed too far back over the back of the head.
Check these adjustments every time you use the helmet. Children’s helmets should always be checked by an adult to ensure that they are positioned correctly with the chin strap buckle closed.
HELMET LIFETIME
This helmet was designed to absorb shocks by deformation or destruction. If your helmet has been subjected to a forceful shock, violent impact, or involved in an accident, it should be discarded and replaced even if there is no visible damage.
The helmet needs to be replaced without any noticeable damage after 5 years. See production date of helmet inside the helmet.
Class A and class B have been designed for Alpine skiers, snowboarders, and similar groups. Class A helmets offer comparatively more protection. Class B helmets may offer greater ventilation and better hearing but protect a smaller area of the head and give less protection from penetration.
