In 1998, design house stockholm and designer kristina stark were given the assignment to produce a product specifically for a popup design store in rosendal’s garden in stockholm, designed by architect thomas sandell. the result was the lotus lantern, a perfect light source for the garden during summer and autumn evenings. kristina stark’s lotus hurricane lantern is suitable for regular candles or block candles.
