Made from 100 percent medical grade silicone, the Ladybug is completely portable and features small feet on the bottom so it stands upright on flat surfaces to prevent spills after use. Once you’ve finished collecting your milk, open the top plug and pour it safely into a container or bottle. Centre the opening over your nipple and gently press down on the back of the Ladybug. Press against your breast and release to create gentle suction and start collecting milk. Always wear the Ladybug inside a bra to keep it secure. Remove regularly and pour your milk into a container following your country’s breast milk storage guidelines. Note: The suction is optional and only keeps the Ladybug in place. It collects milk that would have leaked naturally and will not express extra milk. Cleaning and care Clean after each use. We recommend sterilising your Ladybug with a steam steriliser or by boiling it in water for 2 to 3 minutes. Only use soft brushes or sponges to avoid scratches. Exposure to detergent may make the clear silicone appear cloudy, so wash in warm water with Haakaa Dish Soap. Do not use bleach-based cleaners, sterilising tablets or UV sterilisers, as these may shorten the product’s lifespan. Storage Do not store near sharp objects. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Caution Always follow your country’s safe guidelines for expressing and storing breast milk. Check the product condition regularly and replace it if damaged. Use only inside a bra, as the suction alone is not strong enough to keep it in place.
