The Haakaa Silicone Freezer Tray is perfect for freezing purees, homemade baby food, breast milk or even simple ice cubes. This handy tray is made from 100 percent food grade silicone that is heatproof, flexible and safe for use in the microwave, dishwasher and oven. It is completely free from harmful chemicals and will not leach toxins into your food, unlike plastic trays. Once frozen, remove the tray and gently twist to loosen the cubes. You can also press up from the bottom of each compartment. If the cubes do not release easily, run the tray under warm water for a few seconds while the lid is still on. Use the amount you need and return the rest to the freezer. Cleaning and care: Wash before and after each use. Although it is dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing with warm soapy water and rinsing thoroughly. Avoid using bleach-based cleaners or sterilising tablets. We recommend Haakaa Dish Soap. To sterilise, use a steam steriliser or boil in water for two to three minutes. Use only soft sponges or brushes to avoid scratching the surface. Caution: Check the product regularly and replace it if you notice any damage. Do not store near sharp objects and never dig out frozen cubes with sharp tools. Refer to the directions section for advice on removing frozen cubes. Use this product only for its intended purpose. Please note: It is not recommended to keep baby food or breast milk frozen for longer than three months unless stored in a deep freezer. Do not refreeze thawed food, breast milk or formula. Solid food is recommended for babies aged four to six months and older. Please consult your midwife or healthcare professional if introducing solids earlier.
