Hammershøi Poppy is a line extentions of the popular series Hammershøi. The series is designed by Hans-Christian Bauer and Rikke Jacobsen decorates with beautiful poppy watercolor decoration on the white porcelain. Hammershøi Poppy is a poetic interpretation of the poppy in douce watercolor on classic white Hammershøi porcelain. The classic Poppy teacup with saucer, embraces the motif of the delicate poppy flower which falls into the cup, where it unfolds. The poppy flower is in full bloom on the saucer, and Rikke Jacobsen's naturalistic watercolor strokes capture the tactility and hues of the poppy's curly surface. With poppy teacup w. saucer we get even more opportunities to see the poetry of the poppies both when the whole table is covered with Poppy tablesetting, and when the teacup is used in combination with the classic, white Hammershøi dinnerware.
