The knife block from the Yami series is made of carbonized ash wood, which gives the dark color that is iconic for the series. Designed with subtle details and elegant grooves, it creates a stylish and refined contrast to the dark wood. The Yami series is inspired by Japan and pairs beautifully with light stoneware or marble in kitchen decor. The knife block is both an elegant and functional addition to the kitchen, protecting your knives while adding a touch of style to the space. The knives are placed in protective plastic straws in the knife block. The knife block has room for 6-8 knives. We recommend that the knives are evenly placed in the block. The burnt scent from the carbonized ash wood will gradually fade with use.
