The lid is spill-proof, but it is not leak-proof due to possible overpressurization. How it works Place the Bodum French press on a stable, non-slip surface and remove the lid with the plunger. Add coarsely ground coffee to the press - we recommend 1 tbsp for every 0.1 liters of water. Bring water to the boil, wait 30 seconds, then pour into the travel press to about 30 cm from the top. Stir and close the spout. Let the coffee brew for four minutes. Hold the travel press firmly and gently press down the plunger. Add milk and sugar to taste and your coffee is ready to enjoy.
