Earmuffs and especially the sealing pads can wear out with use and should therefore be checked frequently for signs of, for example, cracks and leaks. Encasing the ear seals with „a hygienic covering“ can affect the acoustic performance of the capsule ear protection. The durability of the pillows is about 3-5 years.
