The business and person behind Louise Smærup Louise Smærup started as a Danish designer in 2013. Through her job as an interior designer, she grew her passion for textiles, ceramics and painting. Today Louise Smærup holds her own Danish design company with her unique cushions as her flagship. You will recognize her designs by the classic leather strap and the beautiful and high quality textiles within the corduroy, canvas and velvet, all in both fine and coarsely woven fabrics. Louise Smærups characteristic cushions are grey and black but her colour range has expanded over the years. You can now find her cushion design in light and dark colours within camel, brown, off-white, dusty rose, peach, bordeaux, green, blue and ocher. Her cushions fit a modern, Nordic Home, with room for joyful living and cosy moments in everyday life. Louise Smærups designs are the spirit of Danish ‘hygge’.
