If you find damage to the product, stop using it until the parts are replaced. • This product cannot be serviced or repaired. Do not attempt to repair it yourself. • Do not modify the product. • Never use a damaged device. Replace any defective or worn-out parts. • Breast milk should never be heated in a microwave or boiled. Microwaving can cause uneven heating of the milk, which can result in serious burns in the baby’s mouth (microwaving may also alter the composition of the breast milk). • Clean and sterilize all parts that come into contact with the breast and breast milk before the first use. • Only use parts recommended by Medela with your breast pump. • If pumping is uncomfortable or painful, turn off the breast pump and release the breast shield by placing a finger between the breast and the shield, then remove the breast shield from the breast. • Although it may feel a bit uncomfortable the first time you use a breast pump, it should never be painful. If you are unsure about the correct breast shield size, visit www.medela.se or consult a lactation consultant or breastfeeding specialist who can help you find the right fit. NOTE! Be careful when handling bottles and other components: • Plastic bottles and other parts become brittle after freezing and may break if dropped. • Bottles and other parts may be damaged if handled improperly (e.g., dropped, screwed on too tightly, or knocked over). • Do not use breast milk from bottles or other components that show signs of damage.
