The combination tray and table called bakketop (“hilltop”) provides a splendid example of how fdb møbler blends design, craftsmanship and functionality to produce products that are far more than the sum of their parts. perfectly suited to the bedside or the end of a sofa, bakketop also works well as a freestanding piece of furniture. it was originally designed for snedkernes efterårsudstilling (cabinetmakers’ autumn exhibition) in 2018, and the young carpenter mathias juul overvad gets the credit for its highly detailed woodworking. constructed of solid oak and beech, bakketop is available in both natural and painted finishes.
