It should sit snugly and comfortably – only the very end needs to go inside. Sit your child upright to allow gravity to assist in drawing out the fluid. If you notice any dried mucus, apply a few drops of saline solution to loosen it before suctioning. With Output Valve A facing upwards, gently squeeze the aspirator body and place the tip in the nostril (do not push it far inside). Slowly release your grip to draw out nasal fluid. Please note: This product is designed to remove nasal fluid only, not large solid material. Age guide • Arc Tip: 0–12 months • Cone Tip: 12 months+ Cleaning and care Disassemble before cleaning. Note that Output Valve B is detachable. Sterilise the aspirator before first use. Clean after each use with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Allow to dry completely before storing. This product can be sterilised with a steam steriliser or by boiling for two to three minutes. Do not use bleach-based cleaning agents. To clean the silicone tip airway, use the Haakaa Tube Cleaning Brush or a similar small brush, or run warm water through to flush it out completely. Hand wash the Tube Cleaning Brush with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Allow it to dry completely before storing. Do not place the brush in a microwave, steriliser or boiling water due to its stainless steel components. Caution Check product condition regularly and replace if any damage appears. Do not store near sharp objects. Use only soft bristle brushes or sponges to avoid scratching. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This product is not a toy and should only be used as intended. Adult supervision required. Keep out of reach of children and pets when not in use. Detachable output valves pose a choking hazard. Do not insert the tip far into the nostril. Because the Tube Cleaning Brush contains stainless steel, do not boil, sterilise or microwave it.
