The shape vase collection is a series of sensuous objects with alluring aesthetics and asian design sensibilities in a simple and uncompromising style. a vase that can beautifully showcase nature's wildflowers or branches, but is also highly decorative when empty and displayed on its own. like a modern sculpture shaped from fsccertified oak and traditional craftsmanship that can spark joy across generations. the vase includes a functional glass insert that can easily be removed and filled with water to avoid damaging the wood. a small brass insert that connects the materials together and safely directs the water to the glass insert is also included.

Made in local, family-owned workspaces where traditions for artisanship is kept alive through generations This is what applicate is all about a special gift for a special occasion local production ecofriendly reusable packaging strong design collaborations exclusive and authentic materials applicata has made an active choice to produce ALL products locally, in family owned workshops in Denmark and Sweden. The collections are based on solid materials such as solid wood, real brass, glass and paper – with the specific intention of producing designs for longevity. The consvious choice of solid materials as well as the handheld, local production method ensure minimal waste as well as reduced transport and processing of the raw materials. Thus most sub-elements can be diassembled and used as renewable materials afterwards. In addition to this, all of applicates wood and paper products are now FSC-certified. Packaging has been developed which after unpacking the newly purchased applicate design, can be used anew for home storage or as a gift box for future surprises. For applicate this is not about developing a single circularity product or a single sustainable collection. This is a fundamental approach to business, where decisions in the product development process and curation of proper collaborations are part of the brand´s DNA
