The mesh lining in the body lets the air circulate under the jacket, making it more comfortable to wear in mild weather and on sunny days, too. The safe, detachable hood comes off easily if it gets caught on something, and small items stay secure in the zipped pockets. The adjustable cuffs and hem lend this kids' jacket a great fit.
