Bergans make excellent quality outdoor clothing and these are no exception. The colour is very appealing being a rich blue with a hint of lilac. The shell material feels soft, has no unpleasant rustle and the lining feels great against your skin. I haven't worn them much but they seemed surprisingly breathable and I wondered if the 10k MTVR rating was conservative. The details such as the gaiters, fasteners, zips and connection for a jacket are all very nice and what you'd expect from Bergans. Great value for money. Note that Bergans sizing can be a bit odd. It's bigger than typical European sizing but not quite US sizing. A Bergans L could possibly fit someone who normally takes an XL. I'm a 45 inch chest and 39 inch waist and had thought from the Bergans website that an L might be big enough for me but it was uncomfortably tight. If you're near the upper boundaries of the Bergans sizing range, size up. My only quibble with Bergans is their sizing is non-standard. Everything else is top notch and their Dermizax NX shells perform better than pretty much everything else on the market.
