• shave and clean the treatment area with soap before starting the treatment. do not use an epilator or wax because you need to keep the hair root intact for the treatment to be effective.

• connect the power adapter to an electrical outlet.
• press the power button.

• choose whether you want your device to automatically set your individual optimal intensity level or if you want to manually select it. you can do this on the left side of the intensity modes button by choosing m for manual or a for automatic.
• in automatic mode, no further settings are required before treatment.
• in manual mode, adjust the intensity level by pressing the plus button. there are five intensity levels, level 1 being the lowest and 5 the highest. press the plus button until the number of lights lit matches the intensity level you desire. we recommend starting with a low level the first few times and then increasing it.

• choose whether you want to treat with automatic or manual light activation mode.
<br/>
• in automatic mode, hold down the activation button until the light above "auto" lights up. then place the light window against the skin and move the ipl device slowly over the treatment area while the light activates automatically. the ready indicator lights up when the device is correctly positioned.

• in manual mode, place the light window against the skin until the ready indicator lights up, then press the activation button. after the light turns on, move the device, and when the ready indicator lights up again, press the activation button again. repeat until you have treated the entire area.

• after completing the treatment, we recommend moisturizing the skin with a hydrating cream.
