Hand-made, anatomically shaped footbed in 2/3 length of vegetable-tanned calfskin. Provides optimum comfort and support with raised arch, integrated metatarsal pad and damping in the heel. Contains carbon filter for optimal hygiene. Extremely neat and flexible fit that takes up very little space in the shoe and is therefore ideal in narrow shoes. The calfskin in the insole's surface layer is higher quality leather that is soft, pliable and very durable. Furthermore, leather allows the feet to breathe. Vegetable tanning means that the manufacturing process has less environmental impact than traditional chrome tanning. The thin, lightweight orthopaedic bridge effectively supports the arch, improves posture and prevents heel spurs. The integrated metatarsal pad relieves and distributes muscular strain, while the rounded heels and heel cushion mitigates and protects against impacts. The filter with activated carbon in the insole keeps the feet fresh as it absorbs moisture and counteracts odour. Air the insole after use for longer durability.
