This tufted mat is inspired by Pippi Longstocking’s unmistakable look. The square pattern is tufted in different heights, creating a tactile feel under bare feet—or socks, depending on the day. Along two sides, soft orange braids stick out, just like Pippi’s in the books.
The mat is made of 100% cotton yarn. To prevent it from sliding, a separate anti-slip underlay should always be used. This is not included, but can be bought where you usually find rug accessories.
The mat also comes with Pippi’s iconic feet—one orange sock, one green sock, real shoelaces included—attached with Velcro so they can be removed before washing.
The mat can be washed at 30 degrees in machines with a capacity above 8 kg. Otherwise we recommend professional rug cleaning. See further care instructions inside the package.
