Always use the product under adult supervision. Never use teats as a dummy. Prolonged, continuous sucking of liquids may cause dental caries. Always check the temperature of the food before feeding. Keep any components not in use out of the reach of children. Safety instructions for feeding: To prepare the food, follow the food-manufacturer's instructions. Use recently boiled water when preparing food. Dental caries may occur in small children even when no sweetened products or liquids are used. This may happen if the baby or child is allowed to use the bottle continuously for long periods of time during the day or especially at night, when the saliva level is lower. Never leave the baby to feed alone. Most accidents occur when babies are left to drink or eat alone, because of the baby falling with the article or dismantling it. Cleaning, sterilising, storing and use: Clean the bottle before the first use. For hygiene reasons, sterilise it by boiling the water for at least 5 minutes or use a steam steriliser. Clean before each use. Wash the bottle and its accessories thoroughly with warm water and soap, to assure that any remaining milk traces are removed. Do not use bleach or any other aggressive cleaning products. Store in a dry, dust-free place. Do not leave the teat exposed to direct sunlight or heat, or leave it in disinfectant ("sterilising solution") for any longer than the recommended time, as doing so may damage the teat. Inspect the teat before each use, stretching and tugging it in all directions. Throw it away if you detect any wear, damage or perforations (after the baby has bitten it, for example). Never heat up a sealed bottle in a microwave oven. Although it is not recommended, if you wish to use a microwave oven to warm the food in the bottle, remove the disc, the teat and the cap of the bottle before covering it to heath it up. The temperature of the bottle will always seem cooler than the temperature of the food it contains, so it is advisable to shake well to distribute the heat more evenly. Please read the instructions carefully and keep the packaging for future reference. Take extra care when microwave heating.
