Hammershøi Christmas Mother Elf Ø6 cm white w. deco - Joulun tarvikkeet

Christmas traditions and craftsmanship beautifully combined. With the little elf family and gifts from Kähler’s Hammershøi Christmas series, you can bring festive cheer into your home with joyful smiles and charming Christmas motifs in a sculptural and distinctive design you can feel – authenticity and creative craftsmanship shaped by tradition. The Hammershøi Christmas Mother Elf is designed with soft lines and features the iconic grooves of the Hammershøi series, which characterise Hans-Christian Bauer’s tableware and decorative pieces. The Mother Elf figure stands 9 cm tall and, in addition to the signature cedar branch with larch cones, is decorated with a charming red apron with a white trim adorned with green hearts. In addition to her love for Christmas biscuits, she also adores knitting, so naturally, she keeps both a ball of yarn and a knitting project tucked away in her front pocket. No elf is complete without a Christmas hat, and of course, Mother Elf proudly wears the sweetest hand-painted hat in classic elf red. If you’re a true Hammershøi Christmas fan, the hat may seem familiar with its signature tilt to the side. That’s because, like all the other motifs in the series, it was designed and watercolour-painted by artist Rikke Jacobsen in her recognisable cosy and hand-painted style, then transferred onto the snow-white porcelain using a special technique. The Hammershøi Christmas elves, along with the gift stack figure, are authentic Danish designs that can bring life to your dining table, tell new stories on the windowsill, or enhance your home’s beauty from a simple shelf. Because just like Christmas, Kähler is also shaped by tradition. With Kähler’s Hammershøi Christmas series, you can set the table for all of December’s gatherings, from brunch and lunch to Christmas dinner and cosy moments with mince pies, and it’s only natural to invite these charming elves to join in, where they will create a warm and festive atmosphere. And have you noticed a unique, playful, and practical design detail? The elf figure proudly stands with her hands on her hips, forming small openings around her elbows – perfect for tying a beautiful ribbon around or even attaching decorative place cards for your Christmas guests. Or, if you dare, you could tie her together with Father Elf so they can stand as the sweetest little elf couple. Simple, elegant, and creative. Made by careful and creative hands. Because Kähler leaves a lasting impression.
